OCEAN IN HIGHLAND – THE THIRD FLOOR
You are on the third floor of the aquarium room, also known as the "Ocean in highland".
This work looks like a fairy world with lots of trees, animals, branches connecting the houses in the form of a tree trunk and her world can't be completed if there are no oceans and mountains. The aquarium is especially covered by a mountain (a house is in the form of a giant stone). It is irrational when one first hears that there is the sea in the highland area and the sea is in the mountain. You will easily understand the meaning of this construction if you know about the concept of mid-ocean ridge. There are a lot of mid-ocean ridges lying at the bottom of the ocean around the world. Through the fluctuations of the earth, there were times when sea level rose, and the mid-ocean ridges laid quietly at the bottom of the ocean. But when sea level fell, the mid-ocean ridges would have a chance to rise out of the water. Those fluctuations, which suggested Madam Viet Nga Dang to create a miniature ocean inside a mountain with 3D paintings.
The third and the fourth floor are still under construction. If you would like to continue to “conquer” this mountain, at the fourth floor, on your right side, there are stairs to take you to the top of the mountain. You will recognize that besides the top of Madam Nga's Rong house, you can observe Crazy House and Dalat city from the top of "this mountain".
Follow the stairs to go down, you will get to the second floor - the exhibition area. If you want to know more about Crazy House and Madam Dang, the second floor will give you lots of information about the history and development of Crazy House; about her life, career, family, and friends... She used to design many different works before and after Crazy House. Her outstanding works can be found in Lam Dong province such as: Pioneers Palace, Lien Khuong Church, Trade Union Guest House, Intercity Station... (Unfortunately, most of them were shut down or were stopped). All her works, which were in shape or just drawings, are kept until now. Besides her dedicated works, she also displayed her familiar things such as the pictures of family, friends, staff, and even hand-writing letters from those who love Crazy House. She shared that besides her personal efforts, she received full support and encouragement from her family and friends in order to achieve her objectives. Her deep appreciation was shown by keeping all pictures of people she loves.
If you keep going down to the first floor, you will feel that you are getting closer to the bottom of the ocean. Between the marine life, there is a stage, where she and her friends often recite poetry, enjoy tea and dance together. This area is also a special place for guests, who stay the night to enjoy breakfast inside the cozy atmosphere with music.
