THE TREEHOUSE NUMBER 1
After hearing the presentation of Crazy House, please take the first stairs next to the pair of giraffes to visit the Pheasant Room (Room No. 11).
In 1997, Madam Đặng Việt Nga had the intention of building another treehouse, and she had a chance to have a small talk with a British guest who had stayed in Crazy House for a couple of days.
“Is there any animal that symbolizes England? Or a popular animal in your country?” Madam Nga asked.
“There are a lot of pheasants in my country. They had been introduced to the UK for a long time. You can find pheasants across most of the UK, apart from the north and the west of Scotland. They are least common in the upland and urban areas, and they usually live in the countryside near woodland edges and bushes.” The guest answered.
Madam Nga decided to make the 11th room for the UK. Unlike the other rooms, the Pheasant Room has two floors - the living area and the bathroom on the first floor, the bedroom on the second floor. The wooden furniture and the fireplace add a cozy feeling to the space. The roof window in the bedroom fills the room with more natural light and provides guests with space to enjoy the sky view.
