THE INTERSECTION BETWEEN THE TREE HOUSE NUMBER 1 AND 2

Dear visitors, you are now standing in front of Room 8 (Kangaroo Room), which is one of the five rooms in Tree-house No. 2, representing Australia. Within the area of 12 square meters, put a strange-shaped bed, which is wider on the head of the bed and narrower towards the end. Especially, next to the door, there is a fireplace bearing the image of mother Kangaroo and her child. Mother Kangaroo is always beside the baby to protect and cherish him in her pocket until he is grown enough and can take care of himself. This makes us remember our mother a lot. Mother will be by the side to look after and teach us necessary things in life until we are steadfast on the paths of life. Just imagine that you are in this room and outside it is frosty, you are enjoying the fire, sipping a cup of hot tea, and listening to gentle concert music. Even if you want to step out of the room, standing in the lobby and looking at a fantastic Dalat night view, what a wonderful feeling it is!

Following down the stairs, you are going to have a look at Room No. 7 (Bamboo Room) and Room No. 6 (Termite Room).

At this point, if you head up the stairs, you are going to see Room No. 9 (Bear Room) and Room No. 10 (Gourd Room).

The way downstairs:

The way upstairs:

Mentioning bear, we immediately think about Russia, the country that Architect Dang Viet Nga spent a long period of time studying, working in her youth. Room No. 9 or The Bear Room created by the author is considered as a nostalgia of the architect Dang Viet Nga about distant Russia. The image of the bear is a symbol for Russia because the appearance of Russians is quite big and mighty like bears (according to the architect). This room, which is located on the third floor of Tree-house No.2, is an area of 13 square meters with all necessary amenities for staying. In the middle of the room, there is a fireplace shaped into a giant bear, the beehive in the bear’s hands is transformed into the firewood holder. To the left of the room is a double bed, there is a set of tables and chairs on the right side of the room in order that guests can sit there, enjoy tea and chat with the others.

Next, from Room No. 9, please head upstairs to visit Room No. 10 (Gourd Room).

The room represents Vietnam with a large gourd-shape fireplace in the middle of the room. Since ancient times, gourds have been used to serve Vietnamese people’s daily life such as food, decorative tools, musical instruments, art objects, … The image of gourds is also mentioned a lot in Vietnam proverbs. The Gourd room is located on the top floor of Tree House No.2 with a unique design. The bathroom has a contoured bathtub made of marble.
