THE TREE HOUSE NUMBER 3

THE TREE HOUSE NUMBER 3

Welcome to the Tree House No.3 where there are 4 rooms arranged according to the nature: Room 2 - Ant Room - in which ants can build nest underground, Room 3 - Tiger Room - in the middle floor is the ground where tigers make rules, Room 4 - Land Eagle Room - on the upper floor represents the sky where eagles are the King, and Room 5 has just been completed recently - Coconut Room.

Room 2 - Ant Room - is in the bottom because ants normally live in large colonies underground. The image of an ant carved in the room representing Vietnam. Vietnamese people are industrious, hard-working, and very resilient, these are characteristics of ants as well. Like ants, Vietnamese people have a united community, which shows that Vietnam had no fear of any great power throughout the historical flow. The Ant Room has a double bed for two adults and a fireplace, which is in the shape of a small anthill, can be used to make fire at night.

Room 3 is named after a wild animal with majestic, charismatic beauty and living alone, not in groups - Tiger Room. Tigers are prominent in mythology and ancient folklore; moreover, the image of tigers incorporated into films and modern literature, appeared on many flags, armor badges and mascots for national sport teams as well. If you pay attention, you can recognize that the author designed Crazy House as though she was imitating a miniature primeval forest and the reign place of “Lord of the forest” - a symbol of Oriental culture - is Room 3. Room 3 (Tiger Room) is designed by different outlines with 2 double beds, next to a tiger with a pouncing pose down to his prey as if to show his hegemony. Right below “Lord of the Forest” is a fireplace that can be used to warm up on freezing nights in Dalat.

Room 4 - Land Eagle Room. Eagles inhabit all areas of high mountains and primeval forests, and the corresponding design of Crazy House is the Land Eagle Room located on the third floor of this tree house. Eagles are a strong and mighty species, so they are used as a military symbol in many countries. In addition, the image of eagle is also used on badges, slogans, literature, music (for an example is Eagle - ABBA). If the Room 3 - Tiger Room - is the “Lord of the Forest '', then the Room 4 - Eagle Room - is the “King of the Air '' or “The Ambassador of the Supreme God ''. There are not only 2 double beds for 4 people, a fireplace but also a balcony. The image of the eagle spreading her wings to protect 2 eggs is also a fireplace, which guests can make fire. This image of eagle is described by architect Dang Viet Nga (with concrete material) as in nature - in one birth period, Eagle lays 2 eggs only and she will protect eggs until they are born and mature.

Room 5 - Coconut Room - is designed to represent characteristics of tropical regions with hot and humid tropical climate, and Vietnam is one of the countries located in this climate zone. In Vietnam, coconut trees are mostly grown in the coastal area and in Ben Tre province. Coconut trees have many uses that we can make use of roots and coconuts such as candy, oil, dyes, musical instruments, handicrafts, etc. This room has a pretty large area with three floors for groups of guests or families from 6 to 10 people with four bedrooms, two bathrooms and especially a “giant coconut” in the middle of the room right beside the fireplace, which guests can make fire, gather, and chat at night. On the top there is a terrace where guests can enjoy the night view of Dalat with friends and family.
